Alternative Museum: Museum of Brands
For the ‘Alternative Museum’ project, I chose to design a memory visual hunt for people with dementia and carers to direct them to the museum as well as enhance their experience there by creating conversations about the past. The aim of this project was to reduce confusion and disorientation that could be caused when visiting an unfamiliar place for the first time.
For the project outcomes, I designed a zine that goes alongside the station signs that lead the Museum of Brands. I thought the idea of having a visual hunt to the museum was fun idea with all the colours and clues provoking childhood memories that may bring a lot of happiness and nostalgia.
